I've been trying to get around to eating healthier and at home more. I don't have any extra money so eating out is becoming un doable. Which is sad for me. I like eating out. Someone else making it and cleaning up, getting out and watching other people. But ah well, that life.
So I made thanksgiving dinner lat week. Bought a turkey breast, makes mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole from scratch! It was good! A client at work brought us a bunch of veggies so we has salad too.
I was thinking about what to do with the rest of the turkey. I dont like the turkey sandwiches with mayo and cranberry so that's out of the question. I was going to make chili but it just didn't sound right. Finally my smart brain remembered the chicken stock Raime and I made a long while ago! Ding ding ding! Turkey noodles soup!
So here I am, way past my bedtime making soup. I added whole wheat noodles, diced turkey breast, celery, onions, green beans and spinach. And my secret ingredient of course, a dash of suzie q!
I'll eat it tomorrow for lunch. Fingers crossed its as tasty as it smells!
So what's up these days with the Thielmans????? Aren't there any new adventures, or is vegetable soup it?
ReplyDeleteOh and by the way, I'm loving my blue argyle collar! I like to keep current and stylish, ya know.
